Following the successful event identity I developed for the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association, they contracted me again to assist on the communication and marketing for their annual competition known as The Fischoff Competition. This included creation of content, design of all materials, and coordination of vendors.
The Fischoff had recently launched a new logo, but their visual identity lagged. Using the event design I had created as a launching point, I presented visual concepts with sophisticated and celebratory personalities. The Board had a hard time choosing, but ended up selecting an abstract bokeh image to use throughout The Competition materials as they felt it truly captured the excitement of the competition, whether you are a spectator or competitor.
They were so pleased with my design and communication work leading up to the event, they also hired me to run their social media for the three-day weekend. I single-handedly developed a strategy and content plan, and with the help of a few high school students who captured media, I created and published all of the content. The single goal assigned was to grow their Instagram followers, of which I did by nearly double, and we also experienced a 6% increase on Facebook and 1% on Twitter.
